the waiting game.

So due to the fact that really old people live in my house right now, i have an extra long time before I close. A typical closing will happen within about 3/4 weeks of putting an offer on a house. My closing will happen almost 7 weeks after my offer was accepted.

Right now closing is set for April 8th. Which is great. and im so thankful to have found a great home, in the right neighborhood, in my price range, with all the things i wanted, etc etc. But all i want to do is get in there!! There is lots of paneling that needs to be ripped out and lots of walls that need new paint and kitchen cabinets that need to be stained, the list goes on and on.

Its hard for me to pick out paint colors, etc. when I cant test it out in the room. (and lets be honest, it took me about 15 different colors of blue before I picked the color blue that is in my room now)

So i have free nights and weekends and all i think about is how I could be in my house, making it mine....arggggggg.

SO if anyone has any good websites for me to browse on that can give me some room/paint ideas, send them my way, cause ill just be sitting pretty til april 8th!

I need to be grateful that I have a house. and that I have a closing date set. But i just wanna get in there and make it mine already!!!!!
