Something I didn't realize is how hard this will be for me. For those of you that know me, big money decisions are TOUGH for me. One, im super cheap. Two, i get scared. When I was thinking about getting a macbook three years ago, I literally thought about it for a whole year. Made a pros and cons list, really had to talk myself into it. Standing in line to buy my computer, i was sweating profusely and actually had to call a friend to talk me through it. HAHA. (and i was paying in cash!)
With all this said, the house hunting/buying will be an interesting process.
So far I've been looking twice at several different houses. I found one i liked. and went back a few times and liked it more each time. A small, cute, greatly priced little house!!! I got SO excited. I went this morning to take pics. I was day dreaming of the flower boxes I was going to put in the kitchen window. My friend and relator Todd then found out that this house which is listed online as OPEN, is in fact, NOT. In fact, there is a contract on the house that has been accepted. MY HOUSE!!! Someone else will be living in MY house!
With me being dramatic as I am, I naturally teared up. My Dad laughed at me. He said Kate, dont get attached. Todd then sent me a funny email entitled "Goonies never say Die"
So thats not my house. But i will keep looking. and praying. praying hard. For a great house, a low price and a perfect fit! A place where kids can come. A great neighborhood.
I'm excited. and scared. :)
So here's to house hunting....Goonies never say die
Ps. here is pic from the house I loved. rest in peace cute little house. rest in peace. (even though you didnt die, im sure your new owners arent as cool as me)
