God's promises

"I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." Genesis 9:14-16

I just got back from a week at Frontier Ranch with my high school friends. It was a challenging yet awesome week. As we pulled out of camp last night and down the gravel road out of camp, a huge rainbow in front of the mountains caught my eye and made me think...

This past week I had really struggled with kids not getting it, or kids who got it but have no desire to change their lives and follow their Creator...

This rainbow as we left camp was basically God telling me that He keeps His promises. And that He is in control. He will do what He is going to do. I will continue to love on my high school friends and speak truth to them, and pray for the Holy Spirit to come.

I am thankful for a Heavenly Father who keeps his promises. And I am thankful that He chooses to use me though He doesn't need me to reveal Himself.
