500 days of summer

I saw 500 days of summer this weekend. It took me awhile to figure out if I liked it or not. But i think i did. The movie is sold as not your typical love story, but I think it is! (quite typical that is) Its a greatly directed film. Its artsy, funny, bright and very real. It makes you feel sad. and laugh. and feel hope. and grief. weird. It was not at all what I thought it would be, but its good, and touched me alot.

I have lots of favorite scenes- i love them in Ikea when they first start dating. I also love the scene where the main character, Tom, goes to see summer, and its two scenes- one is what is actually happening, and one was what he was hoping/expecting to happen. Golly, i do that alot.

I've thought about the movie a lot today over the past couple of days. I kinda want to see it again...but i dont know, it has the ability to make me sad. or hopeful depending on my mood. But if you haven't seen it, check it out. let me know what you think.
